Arc 40 watch with a brushed steel case and graphite dial

Arc 40 / Graphite dial

A 40 mm case gives graphite more room.

Arc 40 is a brushed steel watch for people who prefer a broader case and a darker face. Explore this everyday watch by inquiry with Noxbri in Austin, United States.

USD $174–$354 / indicative band

One 40 mm watch with no steel-link adjustment. An internal planning range, not a quote or a published selling price.

Price is considered by watch unit, selected strap and current availability. If a men's watch with a leather strap is your starting point, name the leather option in your inquiry rather than assuming the photograph defines a fixed package.

The face, up close

Graphite changes the balance.

The dark center makes the steel outline more apparent. The brushed finish keeps that outline from reading as an uninterrupted polished ring.

A close view helps separate color from reflection. The dial's appearance changes with the light in a way a color swatch cannot explain, so inspect the relationship between hands and face rather than judging the watch only by the darkest part of the image.

For a watch with a readable dial, consider which hour references you use. If you rely on numerals rather than an open face, Field 38 is the comparison to make. A larger diameter alone does not answer that preference.

The 4 mm difference is real.

Arc 40 is 4 mm wider in stated case diameter than Arc 36. The smaller model uses a light dial, so comparing them is not simply choosing one of two sizes of an otherwise identical face.

The graphite color may look contained within the case, but it does not reduce its physical width. Compare the metal perimeter against your wrist, then check how the lugs extend beyond it. Do not use dial darkness to talk yourself into a case that already looks too broad.

Proportion / Case against cuff

Look at the wrist outside the watch.

The dark cuff gives Arc 40 context. It does not tell you how much clearance your own sleeve has.

A broader wrist can leave generous space beside a 40 mm case. A narrow wrist may not. What matters is the upper surface that supports the watch and whether the strap can turn down toward the wrist without the lugs reaching past it.

Wrist circumference helps with strap length, but it is not a complete case-fit rule. Two wrists with the same circumference can have different top widths. We do not publish a minimum wrist-size cutoff without the full dimensions to support it.

Use the case and wrist fit guide

Change the material, not the face

Keep graphite. Choose the contrast.

Neutral leather makes the case and dial the main event. Rust leather adds warmth next to the graphite face.

For a men's watch with a leather strap, Arc 40 offers a clear starting question: should the strap blend into daily clothing, or should it be the accent? The plain leather option is vegetable-tanned and neutral. The rust leather option has a contrasting edge. They are not two labels for the same surface.

Woven textile makes another comparison possible if you prefer a less formal-looking texture. Steel links continue the metal around the wrist and bring fit adjustment into the conversation. Read the strap comparison and compatibility guide before assuming that case diameter determines the attachment.

These figures describe the internal estimator, not a current offer. Selected strap details and current availability belong in the inquiry response. The band does not confirm delivery charges or taxes.

For more than one unit, the tool increases the per-unit range by 5% for each additional unit after the first, to a maximum of 20%. It is not a bulk discount. The estimator displays the selected assumptions so you can include them in your question.

Choose with a reference

Measure the watch you already understand.

Arc 40 is easier to judge against a familiar case than against an enlarged screen image.

01

Find your current diameter

If your usual watch is 38 mm, Arc 40 adds 2 mm of stated diameter. If you wear 42 mm, it removes 2 mm. Neither comparison accounts for lug span or thickness, so note whether width, sleeve clearance or strap feel is the part you want to change.

02

Describe how it sits

A watch sliding toward the hand is not automatically too large. Strap length and adjustment can also affect where it rests. Give your wrist circumference with a unit of measurement and explain whether your current strap feels loose or constricting.

03

Send the Arc 40 request

The dedicated form keeps the model attached to your inquiry. Add the strap direction and any dimension you need confirmed. Phone or email is enough for a reply; the form does not ask you for both as a condition of sending.

04

Check what is confirmed

Read the current response for the actual combination and applicable price. Until those details are settled, the catalogue remains a comparison tool. Submitting the form does not hold an item, establish a delivery date or take payment.

Arc 40 / Fit and use

A wider case is not always the answer.

If you want the watch to disappear under a tight cuff, ask for thickness first. If a small light face is what you prefer, choose by that preference rather than treating 40 mm as a step up.

Is 40 mm too large for a narrow wrist?

It can be. Wrist circumference alone does not settle it: the width across the top of the wrist and the lug-to-lug span also matter. Compare a watch you wear comfortably and ask for the Arc 40 lug span before deciding.

Does the graphite dial mean better low-light readability?

No low-light or luminous performance is stated. Graphite describes the dial color. Use the detail view to assess its appearance and ask about any visibility requirement that matters to you.

What does the Arc 40 indicative band include?

The $174–$354 USD band is an internal one-watch planning calculation: a $160–$340 base plus the $14 adjustment for 40 mm. It assumes no steel-link modifier. It is not a quote, and current availability, taxes and delivery charges are not confirmed by it.

Can I request Arc 40 with a leather strap?

Yes. Name the leather option you prefer in the inquiry. The selected length, lug compatibility and current availability still need confirmation; the case diameter does not identify strap width.

A useful shortlist

Change one priority at a time.

The nearby diameters do not all make the same watch. Use the dial and finish as well as the number.

Less case, lighter dial

Arc 36 reduces the diameter to 36 mm and replaces graphite with a plain light face. Start there if the worn view of Arc 40 looks broader than you want.

Compare Arc 36

Dark dial, warmer accent

Nocturne 39 sits at 39 mm and brings a rust seconds detail to the dark face. Choose that comparison if the color accent matters more than staying with the Arc case language.

Compare Nocturne 39

More width, sand dial

Civic 42 adds diameter with its 42 mm broad case and moves toward a sand-colored face. Check its fit warning before assuming that a bigger dial will suit the same wrist.

Daily use / Confirm the requirement

Ask about performance before relying on it.

“Everyday watch” describes how this catalogue approaches design. It is not a technical rating. The steel case and graphite face do not establish water protection, impact resistance or movement accuracy.

For desk wear, look at where the strap fastening sits as well as the top of the watch. For a shirt cuff, request case thickness. For water exposure, request the specific rating and care instruction before wearing it in those conditions.

Do not polish a brushed case simply because it is steel. A polishing treatment may alter the directional finish. The materials page explains the distinction between surfaces, while the care and warranty information separates general care from coverage that needs confirmation.

A warranty duration and delivery commitment are not stated here. If you are choosing a watch for a fixed date, include that date as a requirement in your message rather than treating an inquiry receipt as an arrival promise.
